Collection: Enlarged Pores

Enlarged pores occur when the sebaceous glands are particularly active and produce excess sebum. This causes the pores to expand to release the skin oil outwards. They often appear in the T-zone – forehead, nose, and chin – and can be exacerbated by factors such as genetic predisposition, hormonal changes, excessive sebum production, sun damage, or inadequate skincare.

Enlarged pores can make the skin appear uneven and the complexion coarser and less smooth. To refine the skin's appearance, thorough but gentle cleansing, regular removal of excess sebum and dead skin cells, and moisturizing, non-comedogenic skincare products are particularly important. Additionally, clarifying serums or light peels can help refine pores and make the skin appear smoother and more radiant.
